Northland Regional Ambulance District

About NRAD

NRAD is a political subdivision that is under the management of an elected Board of Directors. An Executive Director oversees the day to day operation of the district.

NRAD field EMT's and paramedics are affiliated with the International Association of Firefighters, local 42.

Specifics Regarding NRAD

The district encompasses over 340 square miles in Platte and Clay counties, north of the Kansas City metropolitan area. The district includes the Camden Point, Dearborn, Smithville and Central Platte Fire Districts, as well as a portion of the Edgerton-Trimble Fire District.

NRAD is an advanced life support system and also provides mutual aid responses to several surrounding communities.
